Pediatric Rheumatology Update

In the past two decades, thanks to widespread vaccine coverage and improved hygiene, the incidence of infectious diseases—once a major focus for pediatricians—has significantly declined. However, India has seen a notable rise in inflammatory and autoimmune rheumatic diseases affecting children.

To address this growing concern, the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) is hosting a “Pediatric Rheumatology Update” on Sunday, 22nd September, at Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune. Esteemed faculty from Bengaluru, Vellore, Mumbai, and Thane will lead insightful discussions on the latest advancements in diagnosing and treating pediatric rheumatological conditions.
