OVERVIEW
Established in 1990, the Department of General Surgery at Bharati Hospital, Pune, provides a full spectrum of surgical services under one roof. From elective procedures to complex emergencies, the department manages general, laparoscopic, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, trauma, endocrine, breast, and colorectal surgeries. Surgeons are skilled in open and minimally invasive techniques, supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure.
Patients benefit from advanced modular operation theatres equipped with laparoscopic towers, harmonic scalpels, and VAC dressing systems. Services extend to wound care, septic management, diabetic foot surgeries, and post-operative recovery. The department also operates a dedicated OPD six days a week and performs surgeries daily.
