Founder, Bharati Vidyapeeth
From Dr. Patangrao Kadam Saheb
A vision of education and healthcare for all
Bharati Health Sciences was founded by Dr. Patangrao Kadam Saheb, a visionary who recognised the transformative power of both education and healthcare.
His intent was to make fundamental services like healthcare accessible to all, particularly those from the lower social strata, to improve lives and create opportunities for a better future. His philanthropic endeavours led to the establishment of numerous schools and healthcare facilities, with a significant focus on the education and healthcare of girls and women, reflecting his unparalleled passion for their role in societal development.
Inspired by his vision, the organisation continues to strive for social transformation through sustainable and dynamic initiatives, aiming to empower individuals and uplift communities. Today, Dr. Asmita Jagtap is carrying the torch, taking this legacy forward and continuing the mission of serving the community through comprehensive education and healthcare services.
